TIME’s Milton Model Train Museum is a nostalgic place for the young-at-heart of all ages throughout the area to enjoy. Thousands attend each year during open house events which are free. The Milton Moose Family Center donates the use of its third floor for the display. A group of model train hobbyists oversee operations as a committee of TIME.
2020 Open House Schedule
We have decided to cancel the open house sessions this year during the Christmas season due to the rapidly rising cases of the Covid 19 virus. We has seen a dramatic increase in cases recently and have made the hard decision to cancel this season. This was not taken lightly or without much sadness but it is our responsibility to protect the health of our members and the visitors that attend our open houses. Given our space constrictions it would be very difficult to maintain safety during this outbreak. We plan to cancel Monday evening work sessions also during this increased outbreak so as to keep everyone safe. We will watch the guidelines closely and will keep everyone posted on the new year meeting and work dates. Again we are very sad to make this decision but hope for a much better 2021. Keep safe and try to have a Happy Thanksgiving.
Free Admission — Donations Accepted
Founded in 2007, TIME’s Milton Model Train Museum stems from the generous donation of the late Reverend Robert Walker’s personal collection and layout, followed by additional donations and grants. Greatly expanded, the centerpiece is a permanently installed 20 ft. by 60 ft. platform layout with many O-Gauge scaled model trains set within a 1950’s era replica of Milton.
